The tale of my personal discovery of the actor David Tennant.
This will include (some) news but mainly my own David Tennant Watching.

2 hour Tennant-fest!

There was a great 2 hour David Tennant-fest on BBC3 tonight with Doctor Who Confidential and then two Doctor Who episodes - New Earth and Tooth and Claw!
The Doctor Who Confidential was mainly about the new doctor (David Tennant) so was very interesting with lots of the interview with DT. They also showed some of how they filmed parts of New Earth and chosing the 10th doctor's "uniform".
I'd recently seen New Earth on UK Gold but I hadn't watched Tooth and Claw since it was first screened so it was nice and fresh again to watch. The CGI werewolf in it is amazing and Pauline Collins fits the role of Queen Victoria perfectly (although the part at the end where they talk about how that may be how haemophilia got into the Royal Family doesn't work as Queen Victoria passed it onto her children and when that episode was set she'd already had all her children.
I thought the "make the Queen say that she was not amused" was rather infantile and carried on for too long but one of the best parts is when The Doctor sees the werewolf for the first time and just stands there and exclaims about how beautiful it is!
There are some lovely shots of David Tennant with great lighting but unfortunately the BBC website doesn't have them as screenshots.
